Description

"Endless Value" One :: My first real PC after using crappy pre-built's for most of my life. This was mean't to be a cheap but powerful machine. Originally I had a RX 480 paired with the 6600K but upgraded to a B stock 1080 hybrid after selling the 480. A 1440p monitor with be my next purchase for this build and maybe a better processor at some point.

Nice cable management, but it the build would look a lot better with a more balanced led fan setup(two led fans on the radiator). All in all good first build.

Thanks! That's a good point with the fans. I may swap out the inner radiator fans for blue LED ones.

for a minute i thought you named it after the general motors EV-1. that aside, it looks like a nice system. i haven't looked at the arctic cooling liquid coolers, but i think i might. How is that cooler working for you?

I didn't spend much time on the name lol The Arctic 240 is a great cooler so far. Its clearly overkill for my badly overlocking 6600K, but it does keep temps below 60c for the most part. Installation was easy and I can hardly hear the quad fans at 100%.

Nice build.Congratulations :-)

I like the blue.

You had difficulty installing Artic Freezer 240 in NZXT S340 ??

I read that Artic Freezer 240 was not compatible with NZXT S340 ??

How did you get it installed the Artic Freezer 240 in NZXT S340???

Thanks for the kind words. No the Arctic 240 was not difficult to install once you remove the vertical cable "hider" on the S340 case. Mine was blue and took a few screws to get off. That being said I would have picked a case with more airflow but the system runs great and has plenty of room between parts.

Long shot but do you think the cable management bar could stay mounted if I removed the two pulling fans or would it still be too thick?

That should work fine :) If I removed my two inner fans then I could have kept the cable bar.
