Description

Bought the Fractal Design Meshify C from Newegg couple days ago, and finally transferred from Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Glass ATX (Previous Build). The other thing I upgraded was the primary OS boot drive to a Crucial MX300 M.2. Overall I really love this case, especially due to the fact that it has tempered glass panel which is the main reason of this purchase! One thing that is a little annoying is the little plate which says Fractal Design on the front of the case which looks to be sitting at an awkward angle. But its not a big issue especially for the price of this case. I've also had to cut a small rectangular hole in the removable plate to route my custom PSU cables due to the fact they were short of reach when going through the grommets. I still need to get around upgrading my CPU, GPU, RAM, and Mobo :D

Not bad for an older build, 4th gen Intel CPU's still have some power left in them, you know. Great pictures, too. +1 :)

Nice build. I'd love to see some pics of the LED illumination behind the tinted TG. The level of tint is one of my biggest concerns with this case.

The glass is pretty tinted, ill be getting an LED strip soon to light it up!

This case is really awesome , Fractal really nailed it . You also put it all together so perfectly and with the taste . There is so much airflow in the case with the mash in the front and top and of course with those ML Corsair fans . I was wondering when will Fractal come out with the case like this and they finally did . Great job bro , +1 . Btw I wouldn't be surprised if you get featured build .

Question. So I'm looking into buying this case and also want to get some Cablemod cables for the first time. What length were the cables that didn't reach from the PSU? This is my first time buying custom cables so im a bit nervous. I only want a 24 pin, 4x4 pin and 6 pin GPU cables.

  • 1 point

So for my 24pin I got it in 60cm which fit perfectly, and the gpu cables i got for the previous case are 40cm so if you dont want to be cutting out holes in the plate then just go with 50cm and it should go through the grommets perfectly. For the EPS cable i got it in 60 cm as well but i cannot use it since i ordered a 2x2 instead of 4x2 lol.

You have 2 intake in front, 2 exhaust on top and 1 exhaust on rear? Also, I am building an air cooler PC, and this case is my first pick. Would you run the same fan setup (2 in, 3 out) or would you swap it up.

Sweet build!

Thanks, and i would stick to this config always since it makes the most sense.

do you think there is enough room to do a push pull on the x62 on the front? also do you think that the x62 can be squeezed up on to the top?

  • 1 point

The x62 fits great for me, just if you stack fans on both sides of the rad you might not be able to fit the gpu in. On top there is plenty of room.

I want cables like that but i'm not sure how to customize mine like this. I know CableMod sells cables that you can customize and I'm trying to go for the red black and white theme. So complicated for me, or i'm just not understanding things. My GPU is the 6+2 cable AND another 6 pin.

  • 1 point

I went with Ensourced cables because of the quality. Its pretty simple all you need to know is what cables you need and the length you want. As for your gpu, you said 6+2 cable which makes it a standard 8 pin cpu cable (6+2=8) and then just a 6 pin cpu cable.

I mean, i understand that part but as for the customization part on their website... That's what confuses me. They ask for like a pattern and something else.. oh well. I got time to figure my **** out haha thanks!

Beautiful build! How is your Kraken holding up? I'm struggling to decide on a cpu cooler for my build inside a meshify c. Thanks for sharing your build.

Thankyou! I absolutely hate this cooler, every single time i boot up the pc it always tells me to relogin back to the CAM software, and sometimes the cooler it is not even recognized. Complete trash, next time i'm going with corsair.
