Description

this was made for purely gaming everything was purchased during black friday and i used stuff from my old build. I did break a bolt for the cpu cooler but the bolts from the other mounting options worked after some removal of material. The most i could get out of the 1400 is 3.8 i tried 3.85 ant 1.35 and was still vary unstable. I changed the stock thermal paste for the gpu.

Part Reviews

CPU

very good for the price but sadly only could get to 3.8.

CPU Cooler

extremely quiet and cools well but 2 weeks for am4 mounting bracket.

Thermal Compound

it's perfect but pricey.

Motherboard

got it on sale for $80 its good but not really full rgb just preset colors.

Video Card

the out of the box speed is not bad and i got it for only 200. except the 3 tiny fans are loud it runs hot even with different thermal paste.

Case

it looks good but i recommend something else because of the no front fans

Case Fan

silent even at full speed and looks nice.

Monitor

the mounting is not good it leans down for me but is an simple fix.

Headphones

very nice and i can use them for hours.

Awesome build to be honest. The only thing I would say is to have a cheaper cooler, or even smaller bequiet one that you could've saved some money with. The rest is great tbh

Ryzen R5 1400 is not meant for overclocking. It's a miracle you've reached 3.8GHz, because according to official specs, it can only do 3.45GHz. Interesting results.

The GPU is too overclocked. Lower it to 1.386-1.410GHz. In that way you will gain arond 5-10°C temp improvement.

Nice build, considering the prices.
