Description

The final stage of my Coconut Lime Build.
Upgraded the CPU to an i7 4790k, replaced both black 4GB-RAM-Modules with 8GB-Sticks for a total of 24GB and added another GTX 980 for SLI.
Plus now i have a 500GB SSD system drive, a 960GB SSD for games and 2TB / 3TB HDD drives for storage.

Done.

Pascal? X99 and a 12-core Xeon? Go crazy!

For whatever it is worth, the 12 core is cheaper than the 4790k...

You put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up. Tastes as good as it looks I am guessing of course.

The final stage????? noooooooooooo.

Maybe you can make a new one and call it Coconut Orange or Coconut Pineapple or Coconut Strawberry and do it to that colour? You get the jist lel. Anyways great to see an update of the build!

There is a certain coolness about this build, great colour accenting. It just has a nice visual balance.

  • 1 point

That coolness level might directly correlate with the alcohol level of the coconut lime. Sober it's a bore.

Love it, but may I ask why there's a Pi on your power supply? I'm fairly new around here and I didn't get the chance to see the previous version of this build

You can look them up in my profile. In fact my dj name is Phil Phader. Two P's. So my logo is a Pi. ; )

Only if you want to keep the mystery. The other version got enough description to destroy all the magic. ; )

Now THAT'S how you make a compliment, people! ; )
Ed is a great builder and the Galledex is his masterpiece! I'm flattered by the comparison!
