Description

This PC build is inspired by the "dark side" environment of the galactic empire from Star Wars ROGUE ONE movie. The left side panel is cnc machined with surface panels to emulate the hallways of the death star. The front bezel of the Corsair 600C is illuminated with vertical slots associated with the death star hallways and dock. These are often seen in scenes with Darth Vader. We invest a lot of money into our video cards, so I created a vertical GPU mounting bracket to show it off! I also made a custom PSU shroud that's airbrushed with AT AT walkers inspired by battle scene in ROGUE ONE. The PC also pays homage to the K-2SO droid from the movie. The exterior of the Corsair 600C is painted in Cromax CAS774 Grey paint. The chassis and H100i V2 is custom painted in Cromax Red Automotive paint.  Corsair's H100i V2 cpu cooler is sandwiched between Corsair's new 120mm RGB cooling fans. The system has 16GB of Corsair Vengeance LED DDR installed in the Gigabyte Z170X motherboard with Intel i7 6700 at it's core. I used grey paracord sleeved cable extensions from Ensourced.net. You can see more details of my PC build here, https://mnpctech.com/rogue-one-k-2so-toy-600c-corsair-gaming-pc.html

Have you guys seen ROGUE ONE movie yet? What did ya think? I felt it really brought the "WAR" back into STAR WARS, and really enjoyed it.

Just re-read your description and clicked the link.

Wow. I had no idea the time and detail you putinto this. I view pcpp on a Samsung Galaxy S6. The little pictures on here in mobile mode don't do this pne justice. I still love the tank best of the three posted here, but wow.

I overlooked this build. Looks great. Not the wow factor of your tank build, but I like it better than your star trek build.

Thumbs up. Happy new year!

This system will be in Corsair's Suite for CES, so we may see it in media coverage. I may be working on a project with Phanteks this Spring! ....COUGAR will be sending me their new Panzer case to review sometime this spring for my YT channel here, https://www.youtube.com/user/MonsterMawd

100% agreed about these two movies, I love creating builds inspired by movies, I'm currently planning a build in anticipation of ALIEN: Covenant, that will tour with CPU Magazine to different game events in 2017. Thank you and Happy New year!
