Description

After 8 years with the 1st Gen i7 (920), I decided to go with a full AMD oriented system.

My main purpose was to build a system with fresh as well as matured components (in terms of established in the market for some months, so bugs, optimizations and compatibilities have for the most part been dealt with) that will last some years while at the same time having the potentials of upgrading.

My second purpose was to build a good looking build, as the PC would be decorating my new IKEA office, which due to lack of space (small 1 bedroom appartment) is located in the living room. Choosing for 2 decades mostly black parts/cases, this was my first attempt to go with a black & white build. Of course last years RGB trend could not be absent from my build, and to be honest I am a huge fan of it.

Due to financial limitations for now (completely new system/office from the beginning) I went with a 1080p build, that is why my build is based on the best 1080p GPU in the market right now. The RX 580 8GB. Accordingly, based on the GPU, my monitor had to be a 1080p Freesync monitor (preferably 24inch as more than 24 in 1080p makes the image look "pixelized"), and also 144Hz since I am playing a lot of competitive CS:GO. That is why I went with one of the best looking 24" TN Panels, the Viewsonic XG2401.

I hope you guyz like it! As for me, I can't stop looking at it! :)

My build is continuously being modded/updated/customized so keep in touch for new pics/info.. :)

Cheers, Mike

Nice build. Very clean looking setup too, which I really like. The small things show how you appreciate your pc and setup which is very cool.

Beautifully Done, love the sleek look and RGB color scheme <3...Also was it hard to fit/install the 280mm radiator in it?

Thank you friend! :) Yes it was a piece of cake. This radiator/AIO cooler is meant to work with this case. Both NZXT products :)

How did you connect those Corsair fans? Did you buy a lightning node pro separately? Sorry, new to pc builds and looking to build my first pc.

I just found your build and its eerily similar to the one I've planned out, except I'm going with the b350-f motherboard, and an r5 2600, as well as an air cooler.

I was just wondering, where did you get the cable extensions? I'm looking at these ones, but I don't want to get a cheap product.

Also what do you think about the sapphire 580? were there any problems you had to deal with? Whether that be with the case, or whatever. Also, does the ram run at full speed? Thanks
