Description

I'm going to use this machine for gaming/programming. The games I have played so far are Forza horizon 3, overwatch, fortnite, Battlefield 1, For Honor and Metal gear solid V. All run at 1080p60fps with high settings.

Part Reviews

CPU

So far no problems. Very fast cpu.

Storage

Very good SSD for the price.

Video Card

Bought this refurbished from Amazon, no problems yet. This card has been able to get me 75 fps at the highest settings in all the games I have played

Case

Decent case for the price. It comes with 3 pre-installed fans.

Power Supply

Good PSU, the only problem is that the cables are way too short to do proper cable management in a mid tower case.

Great build! I am not sure how you could contain yourself taking a picture with the GPU still in the static bag! I ripped mine out with reckless abandon!

Good so far, I haven't run into any issues. Installing the I/O shield was a pain in the *** though.

I see, I was thinking of doing a similar build for a friend of mine with an 8g 580

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t that PSU recently burn someone’s PC down? If so,you may want to replace it, be on the safe side. Otherwise, great build!
