At last! The triumphant return of the $5 I5 750! This time I paired it with an MSI R9 280 3gb card! Really flies with that 120gb ssd! Great little rig for anyone looking to play games on a budget!

+1 and how was your very short vacation with the wife and kids? I had hopes you would enjoy a longer downtime to recharge your battery. I can't complain because your shorter vacation got you back to sharing yet another build with us - I guess I'm greedy when it comes to seeing your builds?? You took it as a challenge last time when I jokingly asked "Where is the $5 CPU?" Once again you answered all our questions with good answers. You don't let any parts go to waste and you are getting full use of your older HDD stock. This time the new owner will get the benefit of a SSD you included. From what I've seen of your builds you don't find SSD's as easily as HDD's. I need to borrow your parts genie bottle and wake that jinn up then tell him to get me some of your parts. You also seem to have an abundance of 750 CPU's and I imagine the hard part is finding motherboards to mate them too? It's about time for you to buy some cheap Windows 10 licenses because you've been building computers at breakneck speeds lately. That's a good graphics card you included with this build. I even considered buying the same R9 280 3gb until I saw the GTX 1060's drop in price. I sound like a broken record but here it goes: Thank You for sharing yet another of your builds with us and the only problem I see with this build is that it is NOT mine! Praise The Lord and Godspeed to you all - Romans 1:16!!

*edit - Are you using 2 different cases in these photos? One case photo looks like it has 2 x usb3 plug-ins. The other case photo looks like it uses 1 x usb3 and 1 x usb2? It's probably an optical illusion due to camera angle. You could use the front case usb3 port(s) with an USB2 adapter cable. You would've already done that, but you probably didn't have one in stock? PTL!!

It's the same case. The usb 3.0 cable has a built in 2.0 connector for older motherboards. Really good case option if you can find them.

where'd you get that case from?

Really creative and inspiring build!

I actually got it from a friend who was cleaning out his attic. He had several bins of random pc parts, including a BNIB case. I bought it all from him for a song!
