Description

I've made this build three months ago, I use my computer mostly for gaming/rendering, most of you will be surprised that I use 980Ti for this build but the gpu is from my old build and i'm pretty satisfied with it, i am considering pascal titan tho but didn't make any decision yet. the mouse in the pictures is Steelseries Rival, I use it for competitive FPS gaming, but i prefer to use the mamba for MOBA games.

I'm not so proud of my pc cable management, nor the color scheme, i'm working on it!

love to hear your thoughts, ideas.. anything :)

I can see why you would have all your ram sticks on one side due to the cooler fan, but even with x99 you should only have 2 sticks on each side.

  • 1 point

i thought that wasnt possible. isnt 4 sticks on a x99 board everyother slot?

  • 1 point

I couldn't, i tried putting two sticks on each side and it doesn't work, i think its something with X99 boards please tell me if u have any solution for that! :)

It may be dependent on the board, but the manual is your best friend in this situation. Like King_Fitz says, it should alternate slots on both sides of the cpu.

It's a kitchen countertop from Ikea, and the drawers are also from Ikea http://www.ikea.com/qa/en/catalog/products/80275222/ http://www.ikea.com/qa/en/catalog/products/00261295/

Bruh, your monitor setup is literally the dream. I want to do a 34' ultrawide, with two 27' on the side. I think that looks absolutely amazing.

Also, $750 165hz panels as peripherals... m8

EDIT: Actually, I'm adding this to my favorites list. I love this.

  • 1 point

I do use 1 of the 27 for competitive FPS gaming even tho my neck gets hurt, the other one so it goes with the rest of the monitors, I do use all of them for everyday multitasking use :) glad you liked the setup

Awesome! Have you ever thought about getting a stand that allows you to move all the monitors? Some kinda swivel stand maybe? I'd probably hook those monitors up to one of those.

  • 1 point

True, i'm looking into them

  • 1 point

You'll end up doing long term damage to your neck, which is something u don't want, you should invest in an ergotron ergonomic arm. I have it attached to my 144hz monitor so I can swivel it in front of my ultrawide whenever I play FPS games.

thanks for the tip, but isn't ergtron arm only on the desk? it doesn't mount on the wall no?

This build is simply amazing the only thing that could make it all the sweeter is setting up by urself some custom water cooling or have someone do it for you it would also help you tie in together your color theme +10000000 build if i could

  • 1 point

I thought about custom water cooling long time ago, but to be frank with you, we don't have people who can do that in my country, and I have no idea how to set them up.. I'm trying to learn tho from youtube and forums, maybe it could be 2017 upgrade if I managed how to set it.

  • 1 point

I feel your pain i don't know how to set one up either but gl youtube is always helpful cost anywhere from 200-400 to make a custom water cooling system.

I want to get a water cooling system, but tbh with u, i dont feel like i need it now since i overclock lightly

would a triple monitor setup with the "Acer XB271HU bmiprz 27.0" 165Hz" be good? The thing im concerned about is the bottom bezel sticks out so when i turn the 2 side monitors then the bottom bezels will touch and make a gap in between the monitors. Will this happen?

  • 1 point

sorry just saw your comment, it will be a small gap u wouldn't even notice i.. go for it man!

+1 from me.

How are those monitors on eyes? Also, I reckon you have to work on that lighting. Are you comfortable?

  • 1 point

Nope, not so comfortable with lighting.. working on it tho.. monitors are nice for my eyes.. no complaints

  • 1 point

Good to know. Do not ignore ill affects of lighting on eyes, especially HEV light emitted by various consumer devices. After our eyes matter the most. Don't mind my suggestion! :)
