Description

Hey guys! This is my first build and I did it to save money and because my laptop is very crappy. Plan to keep on upgrading overtime! All items were on sale at one time or another on newegg besides the PSU which was from amazon.

Impresively good cable management for being your first build.

That's very kind, I did my best to keep it clean to keep it cool

This is a good little budget build. I like and use the 430w evga in many builds. It is good and will hold up. I'd keep it and slap a 1060 gtx micro and you'll be good as far as your upgrade ideas.

Cool build I like this one a lot Upgrade that gpu to a 460/1050 and you'll be good to go

why the 240? I'm not trying to down ya or anything I just find that the 240 was never really worth the money.

I was ignorant at the time and agree with you, but it was on a decent sale, even for a crappy gpu. $40 is pretty safe for a budget build. That's the first thing to be upgraded (: Thanks for the concern!

Nice man, congrats on your first build. I understand budget problems :D, Although, why only 8g of ram? You could have gotten 12g for only $15 more or less. But other than that, for the parts that is has it's a good computer!

Ram is really not going to make a difference, especially 12, because then you wouldn't be running in dual channel. 8gb is plenty, 16 is nice but not gonna make a difference, especially in gaming. The only time you'd benefit from more ram is things like the adobe programs, and still, 8-12 isn't gonna help.

I had bought these on Craigslist from a lad, I guess I didn't think another 4 would do much more for me

Great Job. It is always difficult to work with a budget especially on a first time build. What do you think your first upgrade will be?

Hey thanks! I think either the graphics card or the PSU I want to upgrade first (modular for psu.)

I'd say that this is a good build, especially for budget. If you click my name, I have no builds, but am researching very hard, and I found that Rosewill doesn't have a good case line. Correct me If Im wrong. anyways, do you have any idea where I could find 1050 graphics on sale? particulary under 80?

It depends on the cases for rosewill. They sell many cheap ones and you can go often wrong with rosewill, but if you look at reviews on YouTube you'll find a gem or two for rosewill line cases. As far as the 1050 goes....just watch it's pricing on pcpartpicker....that's all I can recommend besides looking for a used 1050 on Craigslist.

Thanks! I found a 1030 for $69 dollars. Any good?

probably a little to slow the 1030 in my opinion depending on what games you plan on playing. I bet you could get something decent and new at $70 on newegg
