This is my first PC I have made. It was fairly cheap and cost me around $400. I mostly use it for gaming. Nothing to demanding. It lights up a nice blue and works out great!
replace the power supply
Yes please do replace that! I have heard some horror stories of Diablotek killing components.
My friends GPU started sparking, literally. Change the PSU as soon as you can.
I like the irony in the name and performance.
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx430 would this work?
it's a tier 3 power supply a much better psu
should work just fine with this setup
but if you plan on any upgrades for video card you might go to 500watt psu
Okay thank you very much.
Yes must much better
Bomb planted. Beep beep beep beep...
The build seems nice but why did you pick an FX-4230 over a 6300 when they're about the same price? The hard drive for like $2 or $3 more you could've gotten 1TB. As for the graphics card, the r7 250x and gtx 740 seemed to be at better prices or cheaper with one gtx 750 barely making it at about the same price as the 250 you got since 2gb of VRAM would most likely be enough for gaming.
Other than that it looks like a solid build.
thanks for the advice wish I could of talked to you before hand.
get a better psu stat unless you want to burn down your hose
How's that case doing for you? I plan on using it for my build this month.
Cool I just ordered that case ten minutes ago and im just looking to see what other people thoughts are on it.
Great build bro! For that budget the FX-4130 is great. Hope you changed the PSU by now tho :P
You NEED to get that PSU OUT NOW! IT WILL KILL YOUR MOBO IT TIER 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how does this gpu handle games?
