Yeah I vote 1080p for "every game at 100 fps+"

Wonder if "every game" includes those on the Cry engine...

id say it is pretty future-proof, just saying

maybe it'll last for 5 years, but after that, i'm not sure.

Yeah 5 years is about as "future-proof" as PC's get. I dropped $1,700 on an i7 laptop 6 years ago, and it's basically a paperweight compared to my $900 desktop I built this summer.

The main thing with future-proofing PC's is CPU sockets and PSU's. Everything else is just furniture.

Cool looking build! How are you getting those lighting effects? Is that a feature of the case or is that just from the fan rings? Also, I'm not very familiar with miniITX builds, but I am starting to consider one; how are you getting WiFi capabilities? motherboard on-board wifi or do you have a separate wifi unit?

Many mini- ITX motherboards come with built in Wi- Fi because there is only one PCI-e slot, which you will probably use for a GPU.

It's probably the hue+(if it doesnt start smoking) it gives great lighting effects, those corsair fans aren't led fans.

Oh okay yeah I suspected the Hue+ but I didn't see it in the part list. Don't know if anyone follows Salazar Studio but his computer just got fried pretty much by a Hue+ lol.

Yeah I do was pretty interesting. Wasn't expecting the Hue to be the issue.
