Description

I got bored staring at my thermaltake core v1 case and thought I'd do some pc case modding. here are different versions of fails and my final case mod. I did alot of dry brushing and I believe I spent more materials than the case itself unless you have some just laying around the garage. but yeah let me know what you think since it's my first attempt.

the parts are: pvc cutter. pvc pipe. textured paint. copper spray paint, aged copper spray paint, bronze spray paint. dremel tool, black and decker drill, acrylic sheet, protective glasses, gears that you can buy from arts and crafts store, a shower hose I got from goodwill for $2.99, paintbrush, the rest of the parts are from scavenging junk from goodwill stores. I'll add more photos soon including the spray paint and tools I've used.

Only thing I already have in hand were a drill, dremel, pc screws. The rest I had to buy, I learned the painting job just watching youtube. If you're interested, I can give you the youtube link.

It could always be handy, although I don't know if or when I'll ever start modding myself :)

Your pc case looks amazing! It must have taken you a lot of time to complete it.

This is one of the most original case I’ve seen. Love the theme and details, like the dangling pocket watch and barometer. Makes me want to open the chest and discover the treasure inside. Great color too. The Transformers logo really killed the mood and mystery of the case though, with it being a direct reference to pop culture.

Reason why I did alot of changes and removed the decepticon, cuz it was just a transformer logo at first.
