Description

Built for home use, and 2d AutoCAD work. First time Building a PC, so very happy with the results.

Came out to about $1500 with shipping, and taxes for the PC.

Part Reviews

CPU

Nothing to say here, does what I need it to do. Plan to overclock in the future, dont really need to though.

CPU Cooler

Great cooler. Comes with thermal paste, and fairly easy to install. Idles around 28 degrees Celsius. 35 degrees Celsius with multiple chrome tabs, and windows media player.

Mainly chose it to match my color scheme.

Motherboard

Lots of features that I probably wont use. There is a small orange LED that stays lit even when off, doesn't bother me, but some may not like it.

Asus Aura works as described, will be connecting case lights in the near future.

Fan control is great, I currently have all fans connected to the mother board.

Built in WIFI is rock solid, One of the main reasons I chose this board.

Memory

Works great for my needs. Had to enable Xmp to get it running at 2400MHz.

Video Card

Good Budget Card. Handles all my AutoCAD work, mainly 2D work.

Do not buy this if you plan to overclock. The software it comes with is very bad, and card is unstable for any overclock.

Case

Love this case. Looks great sitting on my desk.

One with to be aware of is that it does not come with the adapter to work with asus aura.

Power Supply

No problems. Runs cool, and quiet.

Monitor

Got these on sale at bestbuy for $270, couldn't resist at that price. Original plan was for 3 24" monitors. Don't think I can go back now that I've used ultra wide, great for productivity or if you like having a million tabs open.

Only downside is that I had to get them exchanged 2 times for dead pixels out of the box, But the final units i ended up with are great especially after calibration.

I believe it is this one, but I'm have trouble finding a Canadian retailer with it in stock.
