12 Year Old's First Build!!!!

Please check out my channel!! It would mean a lot. itsJustEtan

This build isn't dedicated to JUST gaming. I use this also for school work and normal web browsing. This Gaming PC is by far one of the fastest I've ever used and built. this is still my first build I like to play PC Building Simulator but as many times as I try to replicate this build into that game, in real life, the cooler cant be situated with the fans on the outside of the bracket, it would have to be on the inside. (Pictures 6&7)

The CPU's idle clock is around 4.4 GHz, can anyone tell me why? The GPU's clockrate under load goes all the way down to like, 300 MHz. Is that a power saving thing?

I regret buying the whole CableMod kit for the Corsair RM750x because I only used 5 out of the I don't know the total amount.

I did need a fan hub because I only have one connector on my motherboard.

The GPU's backplate makes the whole thing thicker which meant the thick annoying I/O shield on the motherboard was scratching it.

My monitor was the Dell S2417DG and overall it is a great monitor despite it being a TN panel. You're probably better off with this than a 27" 2560x1440 144 Hz IPS panel from like ASUS.

My speakers are the Logitech Z623 because, I just don't want anything ugly and these just sound good, not great, but good.

My Keyboard and mouse are from Razer but I might upgrade them. For my keyboard, I have the Blackwidow Elite with Orange Switches and boy do these just sound good. My mouse is the Mamba Tournament Edition and I overall like the way my hand sits on it.

The mouse mat is one I got from Living Computers in Seattle, Washington. It was a great place, and they had so many old computers and merchandise.

The plant on top of my PC is just an IKEA plant.

I did try to overclock my GPU and it was successful. I was hoping to get 2070 on the core clock so, you know, it could match the model but, it was successful after all. I will overclock my CPU later on in the future, hoping to get maybe 4.8 GHz.

I hope you guys enjoyed this build, please look at the photos for a better overall look! Have a nice day!

This build is nice, but...that's a lot of RGB. I understand that the tastes for how much RGB is too much RGB are all objective, but in my opinion, that's too much for me. But hey, you like it, so don't take that the wrong way. I'm sure that it's quite the beacon in your house.

On another note, it is quite a clean build. I'm impressed, did you build it by yourself? If so, woah, that's super clean for a first build. Mine's nowhere near as clean as that.

Yes, I did do it by myself and it took about 6-8 hours to build and download everything. Including all the RGB

Asus has a 5ghz profile on their bios. I have the same motherboard and i5 9600k and it runs smoothly

Okay, thank you. I am hoping to get maybe 5 GHz but first, I'm aiming for 4.8 GHz

Always glad to help. With the 5ghz profile you just click on it and it save settings and it automatically runs it at 5ghz stable on any intel cpu

Can you post a link to a picture or a layout of your settings to get 2.04 GHz on the GPU? I am very new to overclocking and don't want to ruin the card, if that is even possible.

Love the build though man, and congrats on booting first attempt!

Sure! I didn't use MSI Afterburner though (a very well known gpu oc software). I used ASUS's GPU Tweak 2. I'll post them soon. Stay tuned.
