1440/144 gaming rig with an 8700k, Maximus X Hero and 1070 TI in a Phanteks P350X.
Yes, the Noctua D15 fits with this motherboard in this case. I am only running one fan (pushed all the way down toward the motherboard on the cooler) to accomodate the Trident Z RAM. You could run both fans with low profile RAM like the Corsair LPX. There is not much clearance between the end of the heat pipes and the glass, but it fits fine with this setup.
The case itself is a tight fit and the cutout for the ATX connector is way too small, but otherwise I have no issues with it. I debated between this case and the Fractal Meshify and went with the P350x because...lights.
The CableMod modmesh cables are terribly stiff and I would have gone with modflex cables if I had it to do again.
Overall I have no real complaints. Will likely upgrade the GPU in the near future, but EVGA had such a great deal with the 1070 TI FTW2 bundled with the 750 watt G+ power supply that I decided to go with the 1070 TI and see what happens with the new NVIDIA line and the current GPU prices.
