Description

Needed an upgrade from an AMD Athlon II X2 build with only 4 gb ram. Sold my old case, Mobo, PSU, GPU. Combined with Black Friday sales, I ended up paying about 250-300 out of pocket. The only things that weren't new are the GPU and HDD. Not bad if you ask me.

I mounted it upside down on purpose. Made it easier for me to hook up the modular cables, and made the psu fans flow out of the computer instead of through the case.

No problem I wasn't really criticizing was just giving you a hard time, the build looks great and I do however like how well the tubing on the cooler wrapped up, looks more compact IMO

Just realized you were talking about the cpu cooler. I thought you were referring to the PSU. Which isn't even a corsair. It's been a long day :/

In regards to the CPU cooler, I couldn't mount it any other direction. The tubes aren't very bendable, and any other angle would've put incredible stress on the tubes, and I'd be afraid of them bursting.

Ya it's no problem!

Hey man if you're worried about it don't do something that makes you uncomfortable

Woops. I don't normally pay attention to AMD. But I might now.

Put you GPU in the top pci-e 16x slot for better performance and better lookingness.

Why did you go with 16GB of RAM? 4GB would even be fine in this rig. 8GB would probably be a bit overkill, but 16?

Because Black Friday. That's why.

750w psu not needed, 16gb of ram not really needed, and you could have just gotten a 212 evo to cool ur cpu

They might not be needed, but with those prices...

Exactly. I plan to eventually SLI with a second 560 if I can get my hands on one, so I want to be sure I've got plenty of power.

The sarcasm is strong with this one. That card was free. And it'll run Crysis 2 on medium, that's the most graphically demanding game I've got right now. So I'm happy for now.
