Description

This PC has been a work in progress for some time and I believe that it is essentially complete. The title is likely a fairly accurate representation of my rate of consumption during the time I've been building, tweaking, and unnecessarily altering the build. This is (or was, I should say, since it's been a while since I've actually been using it for over a year now) my first ever PC build. It is essentially a backup gaming PC, since I also have another PC I use for gaming on a 35" 3440x1440p monitor, and this is more for indies and games that don't play nice with UW aspect ratios. It's not nearly as powerful as my other rig, but I gotta say I love this build. It will go to my son when I die. I just hope he appreciates the damn thing.

I dig it. How'd you set the 590 colors like that?

Sapphire Nitro Gear. They have a few customizable options for their 500 series cards. My camera doesn't really do the lighting justice but I also matched up the RGB ram.

The fan in the top middle exhausting outward might steal airflow away for the AIO. I understand why you might want to have an additional one for GPU exhaust, but it would help the airflow patterns in the case if you only had 2 intakes and the AIO exhausting. Making the AIO push-pull with that fan is what I would do.

Thanks for the advice. I'll unplug it and see how it goes.

How do you like this Asus monitor? Would you recommend it?

I like it. Colors are vibrant and it has great contrast. There's a bit of light bleed, though. Would definitely recommend it for an AMD build and if you can find a good sale price.

In my opinion, the video card is kind of ugly. I like the look of everything else.

Ha, I love the card.
