This is Challenger's final* stage for 2017, and she is now past her first-year milestone! She sports 2 MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming 8GB graphics cards in SLI, not to be confused with Gaming X or Z. I included the X in the specs because they are of a similar price to the standard Gaming I have installed in my system, and I could not find the standard Gaming cards listed. I primarily do a lot of gaming on her, yes, but I also do a bit of video editing, 3D modeling and animating, as well as rendering, using the vast plethora of the Adobe CC Suite, along with Lightwave 3D v.2015.3. I have the Core i7 5820K overclocked to 4.4GHz from the base 3.3 at all times, at a vCore of 1.275 volts. I ran several RealBench stress tests, and she is rock solid, with temps peaking at 75-76C on an H110i GTX AiO cooler. 32GB (4x8GB) of Corsair Vengeance low-profile 3000MHz DDR4, with a CAS Latency of 15, is what I have chosen to run for her RAM. All of Challenger's components are still utilizing the power from the Corsair RM1000x power supply I had put in her the first time, but the majority of the stock cables have been replaced by the bright red Cablemod custom sleeved cables for a cleaner and more appealing look. When Challenger is powered on, the lighting from the H110i and the GTX 1070s shine in blue to match the CPU sector of the build, and in turn the cables match the GPU sector. I figured I would make it an "All-American" color style.
