I haven't built a system since 2011, so I really wanted to get some bang for my buck.
I decided on the Ryzen 5 2600 and found an RX Vega 64 on Ebay. (since I was going to void the warranty anyway)
The Meshify C Mini is easy to build in, but a custom loop (my first one) is tricky because of lack of room. (and the fact I didn't have any angled fittings)
Since it was my first adventure with watercooling, I decided to go with EK Fluidgaming's A240R kit, which is very cheap compared to other solutions, and also very light weight being full aluminium. The instructions were very clear and straightforward, and I would recommend it to anyone starting out with soft tubing, however, do yourself a favor and buy some angled fittings. This would have made my runs a lot easier, and possibly prettier if you pick a nice colour.
I would like to try my hand at hard tubing next, maybe next year when some new cards come out (Navi), however I will have to wait for EK Fluidgaming, or another manufacturer to make an aluminium water block for these new cards first, which could be a long time.. This is the trade-off for getting it so cheap I guess, since I can't use any parts that aren't aluminium.
