Description

Edit 11/25/18: PC has worked great for the past 3 years, good performance and haven't had any problems. Bought an EVGA 1060 6gb yesterday, planning on buying a Cryorig H7 cooler and 8 gb more of RAM. (btw before you read, I didn't need ram I already had some lying around) First let me start off that im typing this from this PC. Also im 13 and this is my first build. I wanted a PC that could handle most any games I throw at it for a budget. After taxes and everything it comes out to $916 then $851 after rebates. This PC is so quiet the first time i got a post i thought it was off lol. The case if perfect for new builders since it has HDD an d ssd mounting trays and a lot of room to build in. i also really love the CPU i haven't overclocked yet im saving for a CPU cooler (212x). the gpu has dominated everything i have thrown at it so far. as for the psu it works for my build but when i upgrade the CPU or GPU i will need a new psu. as for the motherboard i haven't had any issues its very pretty and had all the features i needed. Overall this build is good for some one who wants nice looking gaming and upgrade-able.

Part Reviews

CPU

Very nice cpu for price ( i got mine for 200 ) it works well in games even when not overclocked can handle everything i need it too

Motherboard

Pretty looking and has 4 ram slots and a steal for a atx board with all these features. msi fast boot is useful too.

Storage

my boot time is 9 seconds even with games loaded on this thing and it was worth it i would recommend an sdd to anyone who wants to speed up loading games. EDIT: got boot time down to 7.5 with msi fast boot.

Storage

great hdd very cheap and havnt had any problems plenty of storage and its even better combo with an ssd

Video Card

a beast of a gpu for most games at 1080p and i havnt had any issues i would very much recommend this for a budget build

Case

very nice looking easy too build in (my first build and im 13) it worked perfectly with everything i did and is one of the best cases for the price

Power Supply

great psu very silent and looks good nice sleeved cables

Operating System

took like 5 minutes total to set up (minus install times)

Okay, since your young I'll give you a break, but cable management needs work, its always nice to have a clean looking case, it prevents challenges for when you need to change things and swap things out. Other than that, this is a damn good build. +1

Very nice build you have there. Yeah, you may want to tidy up your cables a bit, that's all. I had a problem in the beginning with that too! But good parts and staying in your budget. Enjoy your computer and gaming.

Question? how is this a budget build at $770... By the Way...its good to see other 13-14 year olds like myself interested in building computers.

I wanted something that will be upgradable and be good enough for what I need. And for a higher end gaming PC i thought the price was modest.

Isn't this build missing the optical drive? Or does it come with the case?

sorry for the late reply, yes its missing the optical drive, but i had one on hand already so I didn't include it in the build. However most people consider optical drives useless now a days.
