Description

So, a few months back i posted a build saying I wouldn't need to upgrade....sigh. Ended up selling the i7 4770k, 16GB and the motherboard for a neat £250 so ended up going with a ryzen 2700x which gave me a good bump in performance. Mostly happy about the RGB ram however, looks so nice.

No can do unfortunately, to pull the PC out would require too much effort at this point

Simply move the left monitor and get better photos. You literally don't need to touch your PC.

how is that case working out for you? considering getting it

It's great, however if you more than the normal cables routed round the back, cable management can get a bit messy

I really like the way your desk is set up with the two monitors and PC behind. The colours look fantastic also, good choice on the white keycaps :)

Only thing I can't stand is their mice and headsets, their mice just don't suit me well at all and the headsets sound like garbage

Does the mobo pair well with the processor? Looking to get a combination similar.

What do you mean by “pair well” (I own both and I haven’t put my build together yet) it obviously works because he has both, but I might be able to answer your question if you can clarify.

Is the vrm on the cheaper 450 board good enough to overclock the 2600 is what i was asking, thanks!

I have opened the box and the heat sinks are really beefy. in fact, much more than I have ever imagined. I am assuming beefy VRM heatsinks mean a good VRM. It should be plenty to OC. Asus MB’s have a good reputation for overclocking. If you look up A320 and A350 MB’s, you will find they have no VRM heatsink. So if AMD meant to have the B350, B450, X370, and X470 motherboards the ability to OC them, then it’s probably ok.

going to watch 21 or 22 tonight. I watched 19 and oh boy.. that was some very informative info.. Those flash backs to. But the reasoning of 016 wanting to leave, is kinda cringe, I guess, I really don't know how to put it. But episode 20.... what the #### it's like going down hill real fast.. but, I really enjoy this anime :)

Nice build and parts. I got the same MB and CPU but no water cooler. Done any OCiing? That cooler should allow for some nice 4.3 GHZ speed or faster without exceeding 80 degrees.

I can get to 4.25 on all cores, at about 4v, so don't really want to go to any higher

Love your set up, I just got the same case and I really like it with the RGB fans / RAM. Question, where did you get your cable combs? I tried to get more for my cable mod cables but they don’t sell the RM series 24 pin ones anywhere and I don’t want to cut and try to rewrite them myself.

I got my combs with the cables themselves, you can buy them of Amazon relatively cheap

were you debating getting the acer? or the dell because there both g sync 1440p 144hz.

  • 1 point

I got the acer because i heard lots of issues about the dell monitor, specifically colour banding and excessive backlight bleed

  • 1 point

So how’s the acre?

  • 1 point

Its fantastic! everything is crisp and there is backlight bleed at above 70% brightness but i have it at 20% so there is none

Question, How many fan headers did the Mobo come with? Also was the RGB headers 4 pin? Great build though!!!

I honestly couldnt tell you, all the fans are connected to the commander pro

so did you decide to put the rg fans in front of the radiator fans just because? I may be answering my own question here, but i don't want to assume anything!
