Description

My first build and it was a big un

Love it so far it's been absolutely flawless apart from me not pushing my 24 pin connector in all the way but after that it ran smoothly

Installed windows 10 through my university Dreamspark account which certainly saved me some money so if you're in education look into that as it can save you the best part of £100.

I'm looking at changing the corsair fans I've got for the bottom and the radiator to more of the Bitfenix fans that I have installed as a back exhaust and the side fan as the air flow on them is fantastic and I was hoping to have one for the front of the case but NZXT designed the front fan to only work with an NZXT fan which is my only gripe with the case.

I've also bought a NZXT internal expansion hub as like most ATX motherboards mine came with 2 internal USB headers and I need more to connect my fan controller up

Loving the monitor, it's such a step up from anything I've used it the past

I haven't stress tested either yet so when I do I'll be sure to update the results on here

Any questions or comments feel free, I will upload some more pictures once I've sorted my room out as it's far too much of a mess at the moment to take any good photos

Thanks for reading

I got it from Overclockers UK: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-078-KF

Core Clock: 1190MHz, Boost Clock: 1291MHz, Memory: 6144MB 7010MHz GDDR5, Stream Processors: 2816 Those are taken straight from the Overclockers website, I haven't messed around with the GPU yet but it's meant to fare pretty well for overclocking

+1. Really nice looking build. How well does that monitor perform? Would you recommend it?

Thanks a lot appreciate it, yeah I love the monitor I think it's absolutely flawless, I haven't used all the features like the built in cross-hairs that you can activate but for 144Hz its a great monitor, Probably one of, if not the best gaming monitor in its price point and beyond that.

One does not simply get a 980Ti on ones 'first build'. But I have one too and it looks fantastic!

Yeah Radox is right I'm running everything at 144Hz @1080p on high or ultra so it's pretty glorious

Yeah the 200mm is a massive fan I wasn't really expecting it to be that big haha, pushes a lot of air though You can definitely tell the difference, I went from a terrible TV to start as my monitor came a couple of days later than all my parts and that was a giant step up, and then I forgot to order a displayport so I was running off HDMI for a few days, When the displayport came there was another step up, even just messing around with windows was better than before
