Description

Greetings, brothers and sisters! We are fsociety. By now, you know us. You have seen what we are capable of. Evil Corp is still reeling from our attack on 5/9. A day that will go down in history as our true day of independence, the day we broke free from their corrupt capitalist collections. No longer will they control us, hold us hostage, betting against our future at their criminal profits. We've shown the world that even the mightiest corporate monstrosity can be brought to heel, and we are just getting started.

We may have only fired the first shot against Evil Corp, but it was a shot heard around the world. Our brothers and sisters to the north and south are already awake and answering the call. Over the next 24 hours, our message will ring out across the globe as people everywhere join our rallying cry. Corruption and greed are everywhere, but so are we. We will no longer allow national borders and racial divisions to bid us against each other and distract us from the real enemy. Our day, 5/9, was just the beginning. Only when every section of Evil Corp's toxic empire has been destroyed, then we will have won. The real revolution starts now.

WE are fsociety, YOU are fsociety, and together we will build a world together where we are finally free.

Build Notes

  • This build is actually a bit out of order but in light of Mr. Robot season 2 premier tonight, I figured this early post was only fitting. It's happening, It's happening, It's happening. Who else is excited!?

  • I love this case. It's ultra quiet and barely audible thanks to the sound dampening material and "moduvent" ingenuity. Fractal Design has quickly become one of my top picks and I plan on building with them a lot more in the future. I purchased this chassis from a re-seller and quickly noticed that it was missing the included hardware. I emailed Fractal Design asking if they had a store for accessories but they unfortunately did not. Instead, they offered to just give me the kit free of charge so long as I paid for shipping. They have excellent customer service and are very quick with their reply emails.

  • Cryrorig H7 is one of the cleanest looking CPU coolers that I've worked with. This thing is also ultra quiet and perfect for this build. I purchased it from my buddy for $20. Thanks Brock!

  • My cable management is on point with this build. The back panel was installed with ease. I get a tingly feeling whenever that happens.

  • WD Reds are in RAID0

  • Future upgrades include an RX480 and an additional SSD for windows in case I want to use this rig for my Oculus Rift.

  • The current SSD has Linux Mint Cinnamon installed as the primary OS. I have only spent 20 minutes with this OS and I can already tell that it's going to win my heart. I will soon be a Linux guy and I may only go back to Windows just for some gaming. I also plan on purchasing 3 additional SSD's for the other various distros. Once I get comfortable with Mint, I want to install Arch Linux for the challenge, Tails for the anonymity and Kali for, well, the dark side. Needless to say, I will master Linux.

It has excellent cable management options. Lots of tie downs and plenty of room in the back. I love this case.
