Description

I built this PC for a friend who desired a gaming/graphic design PC. I'm not a professional in the graphic design/3D Rendering field, but I keep hearing more RAM would make the process a bit easier. I guess creating less of a virtual memory and thus less pressure on the hard drive. Whatever, 16GB will last them a few years to come. I gave them my spare Shinobi XL case as a gift, and threw in some cathode bulbs, cable extensions and a good hard work.

The result was perfect. Not a hitch. No DOA's. Stress tests passed efficiently. Only issue was the CPU heat sink which is a bit tricky to install. But for my friend, she's happy. So that's that. Now I just need to upgrade my own tower.

I'd move the GPU to the top 16X PCIe Slot as its wired for 16X and the second one is wired for 8X, other then that, amazing build.

with 990fx boards, the top two slots both run at x16, even when in sli, so it really doesn't need to be moved.

Wouldnt of went with a refrence model gpu but still the build is nice you could of dropped the cpu down to a 6350 or even a 6300 and gotten a better gpu and saw equal to not better performence for the same amount of money
