Description

Welcome to my battlestation!

I wish I could go back in time and buy another motherboard because this one have a problem with the bios and the rgb is not that great. Other than that, it's working properly.

I'm using the stock wraith prism cooler, I know the community doesn't really like stock coolers but it's working fine and I find this one to be very sexy compared to most of the mainstream air coolers. I might upgrade for some AIO in the future.

The corsair vengeance RGB pro was worth the extra for that sweet rgb. Trust me, these sticks are looking so good.

The gtx 1080 is powerful, I run all my game maxed out at 1440p and I always have 60+ fps. I sometime lower the graphics to make use of that 165hz display.

I am really satisfied by the monitor. 2560x1400p, 165hz with g-syng for a really good price.

Case is really good quality. No problem building in it and doing cable management was really easy for me.

As for the fans, I have the corsair ll120, very pretty and do their job nicely, with my stock case fans at the front for intake.

Part Reviews

Motherboard

I am a bit disapointed by this board. I can't start the bios normally pressing delete, I have to press f11 then select edit. Rgb is pretty bad, but it's there. Other than that, it's working properly, but if I could go back in time, I would spend the extra dollars to get a mb more expensive.

Memory

Worth the extra money to get that sweet rgb!

Storage

Fast. A bit pricey when I bought it.

Video Card

Powerfull. Good looking. I wish gtx 1080 would be written on it so I could see it from the TG.

Case

Good quality, good airflow, coming with 2 fans. At first I was not sure about the dark tint but with enought RGB inside, it's looking perfect to me.

Monitor

1440p, 165hz, gsync, a good price. It's a very good monitor. Would recommend.

Looks good! I have a similar build going on in my meshify, just 2600x instead and cryorig h7 tower cooler over stock. Do you plan on adding more case fans to the front as intake? It can hold 2x 140mm or 3 x 120mm. What are the temps like with just 2 fans?

Mine were drastically improved when I added more. I have 5 fans total. The original 2 fractal fans that came with the case as intake, and 3 LL120 corsair RGB fans for exhaust. It works great. You are right about the dark tint, with a touch of RGB light, everything looks good behind it -- and not overwhelming to me.

It's really funny because I was exactly thinking about doing that. Your desktop looks goods! Thanks for commenting, I'm going to go with 3 LL120 as well.

Thanks! I hate that they are so expensive for fans but it is what it is. You'll like them. They aren't the absolute best performers but are quiet & look good.

Which slot did you put your ram?

I would assume he used slots A2 & B2, but I am curious to hear too and hear if he has had any RAM issues.
