Description

My first high end build, built in the beautiful Phanteks evolv tempered glass edition. Maximus viii formula motherboard, corsair ax 760 power supply, Samsung 950 pro as boot drive and most used programs/games, along with a Samsung 850 evo for mass storage. Rocking the 6700k at 4.8ghz on all cores at this time, with 32gb of corsair vengeance led ram. Of course we have the amazing Ek Predator 360, with 6 Vardar fans in push pull. Along with a full cover Ek block and backplate for my gtx 1080 g1 gaming that is running between 2050 and 2100mhz. The water block came with the Predator QDC allowing me to instantly connect it with my cpu loop. Have linked the asus aura on the motherboard to my case lighting and also installed an Nzxt hue+ for my extra lighting needs. As I said this is my first high end build and only 2nd build ever so any critisism or advice would be appreciated, I am looking at getting some sleeved cables for graphics card/24pin/8pin as they are kinda ugly right now. Thanks :)

Any questions ask away :) also this camera doesn't do the colours justice. It's more of a cyan colour in person and has a super nice look going on. Also I know this build is overkill for the ****** monitors I have, saving up for an asus pg348q 1440p ultrawide 100hz g sync beast. Just that's another £1000 I haven't got right now lol

The final picture was a few days ago before the additional fans for the radiator and my gpu water block turned up, so that's it with the stock g1 gaming cooler.

Amazing build! Wish I could have something like that! The only criticism would be your monitors. If you're going to build such a beast of a computer, don't you want a monitor to support that? That's it from me. Great build!

Yeah just didn't have the budget right now, saving for a pg348q ultra wide now :)

Sweet build +1.

How's the motherboard running? Run into any issues?

I'm looking to get the same one for my build.

Motherboard has been perfect for me, no issues with Windows installation, flashing the bios, ram frequency etc. All been smooth sailing for me :) definitely a nice board.

Thats a lot of processing and gaming muscle. I'm not a fan of how the tubing looks, but those coolers are badass. Nice build.

Great build, although personally I wouldn't have gotten such an expensive motherboard as it looks to be waaay overkill, but seeing as you overclocked your processor to 4.8 understand your reasoning. Once you get the asus pg348q this build will be a true monster :)

Nice build! Are the ram led customizable?

Not yet, they all breathe at different intervals at the moment which doesn't look bad, there are whispers of corsair bringing out something to control them though so hopefully in the not so distant future.

Very very nice ! You used a lot of the parts that I want to use for my build but it's still WIP :) Good work !

Yeah I think all around these parts are fairly commonly used, which is why I went with this case to truly show them off. Literally bought a fractal define s a few months ago as I liked the minimalist aspect of it, then when this build came together I wanted something more haha
