Coming from a 1050ti pre-built pc, I definitely wanted an upgrade for my gaming experience. My first instinct was to get another pre-built, but further investigation brought me to this site. Within a month i was building this great gaming work of art and I am more than happy with its performance. I use this beast at 1080p and 144hz and can run almost any game on high to ultra. My total for this build was $1400 and I have spent about $60 on accessories and aesthetics. RGB case fans may seem stupid but they were $24. With those and some cable mod extensions, I found a way to make this build look pretty nice and clean. Don't judge the rainbow theme, I think it looks pretty clean all together
For mostly gaming i came upon this cpu and I am more than pleased with its performance. With it overclocked to 5.0ghz there is no game that can stand in my way. With pairing it with a 2070 super i was worried it would not be enough but it handles very well with it in a gaming enviroment.
I was almost confused on which air cooler to get with so many options out there. I heard lots of good coming from be quiet coolers and that is about all you hear from this cooler. Very quiet and keeps my cpu idling around 25c and under load its max is 70c. Pretty much all i could ask for from this cooler as it does what it is supposed to do.
Fairly standard motherboard not much to say about it. RGB lighting does suck but that was not my reason for buying it whatsoever. Very good budget board with room for m.2 ssd's. No complaints except the rgb lighting and software.
It's 3000 ram. best bang for the buck at the time of buying. Performs well for me
This is actually my biggest excitement about this build. Coming from a mech hard drive this ssd will make anyone happy as it boots windows in a blink of an eye and since i have all of my games loaded on here for now, loads my games very quickly as well. Very satisfied as at the time this was considered a budget ssd.
Wow. I'm still surprised i have this card and got it for $515. originally had a 2070 duke and then the 2070 super series came out and i was in my amazon return time for the 2070. I was somehow able to snag one of these beauties from new egg and boy is it amazing. RGB lighting is cool to have but isn't important. The performance of this thing is amazing considering I got it for the same exact price as my 2070 duke. Very happy and lucky to have this part in my build as the price is rising and it is always out of stock.
Air flow is meh, cable management is very nice and has tempered glass. The noob case but it looks good and gets job done well.
550 watts may seem small for my build but there is always room to upgrade this part. For now it does a good job. Have not had any crashes or blow ups so id say this was a good buy for the price and performance. cables can be a little short especially for the cpu but i make it work.
144hz va monitor is basally it for this one. Great picture and 144hz is absolutely amazing to game on considering you can achieve that which i can. Only negative is vertical adjustment but i knew when buying it that it did not have it so beware if that is what you are looking for. Very happy i went with 144hz.
I mean hey they look good, can be a pain in the butt to manage sometimes but it does look very good. Only thing is the cables come bent which can't really be stopped but it can be really annoying especially when you're trying to get them to look very clean and straight.
I underestimated the mass and thickness of my card and really wanted to level out my gpu and reduce sag. I did not want a bracket that went underneath the gpu as I felt as if it would make my build too cluttered. I was very happy with my uphere rgb fans so i gave this a shot and I am pretty impressed. Can hold two gpu's but I only have one. The base circle piece is magnetic which is very convenient and the adjustable piece seems to clamp down very well and keeps my gpu very secure.
Actually brought my build together, had no intentions on buying RGB for my build, was kinda an after thought but i am glad that i did because for $27, i got great looking fans. The RGB looks great for the price and the lights do not hot-spot virtually at all, only a little if you're really trying hard to see it. Does come with a controller that can hold up to 6 fans. The controller and fan cables are made fairly cheap but hey they work. Not using them mainly for performance as i have h500 and the airflow is not the best to begin with. Overall great price for what you are getting
