Description

First off I used my phone which is pretty old to take the photos so I apologize for the picture quality.

So I have been wanting to build my own PC for about 2 years. I built this to be ready for the new NVidia/AMD cards coming out this year (depending on which one is better). I will probably get the GTX 1080(ti) or the AMD equivalent.

CPU

I chose the i5 6600k because when overclocked it is only slightly inferior in gaming performance to i7 6700k (in most games) for £90-£100 cheaper. I currently have it clocked at 4.6 gHz, 1.35 v. Seems stable and I am having no problems so far.

CPU cooler

I had trouble putting it into the S340 as I wanted a pull config so I could see my Thermaltake riing 14's but I had to stick with a push config. LED looks nice and keeps my CPU 22-celsius minimum- 34 max (stock) and at 4.6 gHz it is 52 celsius max and 32 min. really quiet.

GPU

Looks hella ugly but gets the job done. Upgrading soon. I bought a 6+2 pin braided cable only to find it was 6+6 pin.

Storage

Chose a small SSD for all system utilities will get a 500 gig for games soon. 2tb for all storage of games and videos.

Motherboard

No problems, Looks Great, BIOS is nice.

Case

Cable management was arduous mostly I tucked them underneath 3.5" drive bays. Looks Nice. would probably went with a different case now.

Case Fans

Look nice, cool great, a bit noisy. Accidentally bought an extra 140mm fan.

Monitor

Great, I thought this was the gl2460HM at first but oh well. I'm no audio buff but speakers are good.

Mouse

Looks really nice, Lots of customization. Great performance.

Keyboard

A bit of flex but you get what you pay for will upgrade to the corsair k95 soon.

The CPU temps were taken with nzxt's CAM but I got different results with CPUID with min 32 max 53

Reliable and has a lot of storage

Video Card

meh, I got it used and cheap cause i'm upgrading soon to pascal or polaris. Its pretty ******* loud and is the only thing I can hear in my case. 2gb Is a little low I can run much games past 2012 cranked up

Case

Its not that it's a bad case I just wish I had went with something different

Power Supply

it's a psu and its reliable... loving that warrantee :)

Operating System

Downloaded iso to usb then got the key cheap. love the OS and it is a huge upgrade from 8.1. I know people hate it compared to windows 7 but tbh i never liked win7 anyway. Win10 is snappy and new with a great UI.

Case Fan

They're fans and they're sexy

Case Fan

Monitor

Ok, speakers are pish, not a lot of different colours and you can tell when in a dark area of a video game.

Mouse

Great Mouse love it lots of customisation. amazing sensor. I don't really use it all that often but the sniper button is good to have
