So as by the name of the Title, this build was taken place after the devastation from Hurricane Harvey (I am from Houston,Tx). I've decided to call the build that since it was a wild 4 days of non stop rain. This build was requested by another of my brother's friend, lets call him S. After the flood, S's parents had enough money to give him since he lost majority of his belonging from the flood. If i recall their house got flooded about 4 feet of water.

Well S requested a good budget build for $1k that can play games at 1080p over 60fps. We basically spent a whole afternoon at Micro Center and use a couple of items I had on the side that I stop using. He decided to go the AMD route since Intel decided to screw over their customers again with the launch of Z370. Now that the new Ryzen chips are here he can upgrade to something with more punch. Unfortunately the GTX 1060 3GB was all that left since it was at the time the Rise of GPU Shortage however he was able to score on the RGB at normal prices before the inflation. So the 460x case is really nice but is a headache to work with since its a small mid tower case. I did advise him to upgrade the PSU down the road since this is my first time using a Corsiar one. Anyways I meant to upload this along time ago but ended up misplacing the photos I took.

Thanks man, I hope the city takes this as a wake up call about out flood issue. For the past 3 year we been having an unusual flood throughtout the city; Memorial Day Flood (2015), Tax Day Flood (2016), Hurricane Harvey (2017) and recently 4th of July Flood (2018). Ive already went through a lot of storms as well Tropical Storm Allison (2001), the Evacuation of Hurricane Rita (2005) and Hurricane Ike (2008).

You way overpaid for that 1060. I would have gone with a used GPU.

Used at the time was also being mark up. But its all good because I told the owner to pay for the MicroCenter protection plan so that way when the new cards come out he can return the the 1060 and get something way better.
