Description

This was my first attempt at a self build. I wanted to keep costs low in case it all went horribly wrong. It was going to be used as a media centre running OpenELEC so I wanted it to be quiet and it didn't need to have a lot of power. Due to limitations of space, it also needed to be small. I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Good looking cheap build, looks like you pulled it off very well. I would suggest a modular PSU but it looks like this tower has an integrated PSU so I will skip on that suggestion. Very nice build.

The power supply is a completely separate unit to the case. I'll admit that I didn't do enough research about PSUs and didn't know what a modular PSUs was before ordering all the bits (from amazon.co.uk).

Thanks. I've moved the cables a bit, but there's not a whole lot of space inside the case. A modular PSU would probably have been a better choice.
