Description

My previous PC, was first built in March 2016 but was upgraded throughout that year. In December 2019 everything but the hard drives and fans were replaced with all new parts to make my current build.

Part Reviews

CPU

A lot better than the Pentium I was using.

Motherboard

Probably because I bought mine used, but the onboard audio died in a little over 2 years of having it.

Video Card

Bought it when it's brand new, it's on par with the 970 and is even better at DX12 and Vulkan.

Case

It's a good case for the price but it's a real pain to open the front panel.

Power Supply

Bought it when it was on sale for $57 or so, more than what I'd need but a very solid PSU nonetheless.

Speakers

Good for my purposes.

Great choice on the CPU. I was tearing myself between the unlocked version and this one and for my needs, the 6500 does the job

You should probably move those RAM sticks to slots A2 and B2, or slots 2 and 4, depending on how they're labelled in your motherboard's manual. Otherwise, you won't be getting proper Dual-Channel memory functionality. Otherwise, nice and respectable build!

I moved them long ago actually, haven't updated the pictures.
