Description

Sorry for the photos not being the best quality I use this PC completely for gaming. I was bored with Red and Black builds because everyone was building red themed PCs, so i decided to paint the heatsinks on my motherboard green with plastidip. This build is a slight upgrade over my old build, with a new graphics card, more fans, better RAM, the addition of the NZXT Hue+ and changed peripherals. While the PC is green and black, i didn't manage to paint some parts of the bottom chipset heatsink green, this was mainly because of the use of plastidip, where i couldn't remove the masking tape without also pealing the plastidip. I love this rig, as I can play all my games maxed out at 1080p@144hz. The only thing i dislike is the fact that my acrylic window on my Phanteks Enthoo Pro is scratched.

Part Reviews

CPU

Very good CPU, destroys CPU crunching games like Arma 3, The Crew etc, not really needed for a gamer like me but i had the money and i wanted to buy something which can do pretty much everything.

CPU Cooler

Works very well, keeps my 4790k@4.5 around 50c under load

Thermal Compound

It's thermal paste

Motherboard

Very nice motherboard, even though i hated the red and painted it green, it was very worth it in the end... No issues with anything to do with this motherboard...

Video Card

Very nice looking Graphics Card and also performs wonderful, bit disappointed with the issue EVGA had with their 10 series cards not having enough cooling for the VRAMs (i am yet to receive my kit to fix the issue)

Case

Super good case for the money, though mine came scratched I love it a lot. Lots of room for a whole bunch of stuff...

Power Supply

I had a Seasonic S12II 620w wihich wasn't enough for what i was going to do so people suggested me this, I do not regret a single cent.

Case Fan

Expensive and loud (i have lowered the speed a lot) but worth it, i also bought the chromax green corners to match my build

Monitor

Isn't the most recent monitor but I love it...

Keyboard

Great upgrade from my old Razer switch keyboard, although i split a drink on it (and some keys became sticky), this keyboard still works and works perfectly

Mouse

Really dont like this mouse, i will change it ASAP, i hate when i lift the mouse my cursor will most violently, do like the lights tho

Headphones

Great headset for the price, comfortable and sounds great, i has red and black on it though......

I would go with some Thermaltake Riing Green LED fans and some cable combs but looks great!

This is my Green black Razer Build and you can see the Thermaltake fans would look great in your case https://pcpartpicker.com/b/N9qkcf

I will not upgrade these fans, probably because there isnt a upgrade and also i would not get fans with leds because as i have the HUE + and i just leave it in a white setting, the green leds on the fans will clash

I couldn't (says in the description why), i have plans to paint it with paint that can't be peeled off. I would've painted it with engine enamel from day 1 but i wanted it to be possible to keep be changed back to stock form, but now, i might as well go ahead and paint it properly.
