Description

A friend of mine got some good black friday deals on pc parts. He wanted a well balanced, powerful build with a good price/performance ratio and a sleek look. I was really enjoying building in his new fractal design meshify c.. :)

Did your friend pay for the parts or did you give it to him for free?

Right on! Very well done. I love this case especially for the cable management. That raised section in the back is so useful.

Were there any spacial with the Kraken x52 top mounted with the Trident Z RGB RAM? I plan on doing the same things and have found that the radiator in meshify C top mounted has space for 40mm in height for components and the Trident Z RGB are 44mm.

Did you ever end up doing the x52 trident build. I'm looking at doing the same with a z390 board in the meshify and want to know if there are any ram clearance issues.

What screws did you use to mount the back fan?

I can’t figure it out

How are you controlling the Aer fans? Do you have a Hue+ hidden in there, or are you using Asus Aura software to manage the NZXT RGB?

I have almost the same set of components myself, and am looking to liquid cool (also with NZXT) but have been discouraged by my Strix card being so long. How is your RAM clearance with the x52? (I didn’t think that the top rad would fit, but maybe that’s with my Gigabyte Mobo, as they put the RAM physically higher than Asus does).

There is a Hue+ Back in the hdd cage. I think, it would be a very tight fit with 4 dimms, haven‘t tested it.

This case can only fit 240mm radiators for the top mount correct? Or can it do 280?

  • 1 point

without modding 240

what is modding? an can I really put a 280mm radiator at the top?

Is it possible to place a radiator up front with that setup and your gpu?

Currently brainstorming a build almost identical to yours! Is it possible to position the Kraken X52 on the front panel without conflicting with the rather long STRIX GPU?

Beautiful build my man!

Are those the stock fans at the front? If so what fans are they and is the build quite?

  • 1 point

those are the fractal stock fans. the components are easy to cool, the case has good airflow and it is very quiet.

Alright thanks I have corsair 460x and it’s extremely loud I’m thinking about switching to this case.

Hey, what's that massive mouse pad with the parts/blueprints on it?

Hey, it is „Eisplateau“ from Alphacool, an anti static mat.

what kind of phanteks sleeved cables did you use? what pins?

Hey! can I add nzxt x62 instead of x52 with these specs at the top because it's a 280mm radiator?

  • 1 point

I think the x62 would collide with motherboard's heatsinks / dimms.

I thought x52 and x62 are of same width! :P

the x62 is wider

What if I put Asus rog x370-f instead of the b350-f? would it fit with x52?

Hey, got build in the same case but x52 is in front, tell me what tems do you get? because on stock fan speed and 8700k @ 5ghz heating my single fan 1060 to 90 degrees sometimes

Did the x52 fit on the top okay? Are they touching the memory at all?

it fits. if you use all 4 dimms on this mobo it will be very tight with the tubing.
