Description

After using my original build for a little less than six months, I decided that I needed an upgrade in the case department. The cooler master N200 is a great first time/budget friendly case to build in, however; I was not satisfied with the outcome of my build. I began researching into more high quality cases when I came across the Fractal Design Define Mini C. What a beauty.. I decided that this case was the one!

What a great choice it was too! the cable management is an absolute dream in this case. Fractal Design really outdid themselves in my opinion.

I also added a magnetic LED RGB strip! from what I heard, RGB improves performance by 100% ;)

Goals for this PC. - Autodesk/Solidworks - Gaming - Lite Multitasking

Planning on adding another 8gb stick.

This CPU is a straight monster. Great for my gaming needs! Was able to get a stable overclock of 4.5 :)

CPU Cooler

Keeps my 6600k pretty chilly, very nice performer.

Video Card

Do not let the single fan fool you! Runs like a dream, all at pretty good temps!!!!

Power Supply

Great little PSU. Probably will upgrade to an modular one further down the road.

Nice little build, but if I can suggest moving your ram stick that is right now in DIMM4 on your motherboard to DIMM2, also if you are using 2 ram sticks (as followed in your part list, but not shown in your pictures) if not already done follow your motherboard manual, and have 1 stick in DIMM2 and the second one in DIMM4, for optimal dual-channel goodness.

Cheers, and enjoy your build!

Will do! must have missed that when I was reassembling the PC into the new case! and I am holding back on buying another stick at the moment because of the recent price inflation of RAM. Ill probably remove it for the time being though. Thanks for the feedback!
