How are CPU temps?

  • 2 points

Cpu temps range from 50-59 degrees c underload

Probably pretty close to ambient, the 2200G has a low TDP.

That was some “The Verge” Level paste application.

Hurray for mini-dtx case! uncommon but oh so useful for gaming GPU.

Nice little computer build. The components should be good for games that don't put too much pressure on your computer, and the computer seems to be worth the price.

Thank you, its actually for my girlfriend when she goes to study abroad in Austria.

Any troubles building it?

I had a rose will PSU that actually didn't fit so i had to swap it out for a modular PSU.

Where did u get that 970?

I bought it on Facebook marketplace.

Was cable management hard with the case?

Not so hard if you have a modular power supply. I would suggest if you build this. Buy a Modular SFX power supply.

but why the integrated graphics on the R3? THERE'S A GTX 970 ON IT

  • 2 points

The R3 is still a great CPU by itself. The next step up is an R5 with a lower clock speed. I'd still say its great value even if you don't use the iGPU.

Agreed. Asianpearman's argument could be made against any CPU with integrated graphics.

The 2200g is better than the 1400 but the 1500x would be a slight step up.

I just Bought the CPU because it was cheap. I have plans to replace it in the upcoming years.

Waaay overkill on the thermal paste. Using too much will actually cause CPU temps to rise. However, since you have a high end cooling unit on a lower power CPU, you probably won't notice much.

I'll keep that in mind for the next build.
