Description

EDIT: I didn't set the CPU clock speed manually. I think its just a bug with the website

So this is just a follow up build of My sisters PC with some upgrades i selected and she recently bought today. I didnt realise the ram was 1333mhz but from the stuff she will be doing i doubt there would be any differece to i didnt bother to go back and ask for a higher clocked speed of ram.

Besides, Its not crucial..

Sorry/ not sorry. bad puns, but i had to RAM it in there. Ok ill stop now.

Ive also updated the list to add the monitor and usb network stick that was missing from the previous build.

If she wants ill install a 60GB SSD for windows at some point and a PCIx8 or PCIx1 network card because her motherboard can actually support both.

but unless something drastic changes with the build, this is pretty much what its going to look like. Well until she wants a new monitor and case that is.

CPU

Changed out from an i3-2120 to this i5-2400. Things seem a little faster than before and it really goes well with the overall build. Also being a quad core CPU means that there isnt going to be any bottleneck for the system as its main use is just an office PC.

RAM

Upgraded from a stick of 2GB from crucial to this. Not bad for the price and it came as a pair.

How is the psu listed as free? And I think 2 million GHZ will burn your house down, and more than likely most of your hemisphere.

I got the PSU from a friend for free when i was upgrading his PC with a Coolermaster semi modular 750watt bronze PSU and a GTX 770.

What was intel thinking when they said the new i9-9900k was the fastest CPU on the market?

is the house burned down yet with that clock speed?? XD

Considering the only other i5 she was using was one build in a laptop to be very power saving. an i5-4210U. This is way faster than anything she has used before.

Are you not getting it? It says at the bottom of the page "CPU CLOCK RATE 2.147 PHz"

1333 ram is okay with that cpu, it's the max it can run at.

Will that ram bottle neck that CPU?

That's quite the CPU you got there. How's your electricity bill doing?

2,000,000 Ghz? pfft... i can do 5,000,000 any day.

Dang that’s a higher clock speed than debaur gets on an 8086k. Also a 2400 still sells for 30 pounds? That seems a little pricy for such an old cpu

Bought it from CEX. Probably could have got it cheaper in an eBay bid or Facebook but it was in stock so it was just convenient to get.
