Description
This is my second build that I made for myself, and it has been very aesthetically driven. It took nearly 7 months of planning, along with 1 month of allocating all of the parts. Overall, I am very happy with how it turned out. I haven't done any benchmarks yet, but I'll try to update as I do it. So far, I've only played CS:GO at max settings, 1080p 60fps. This is a massive upgrade over my old system (Athlon 880k + 1050ti). It took less than 3 minutes to install CS:GO, so a large upgrade over my previous rig. Thank you so much PCPP for your help. See you next upgrade!
Part Reviews
CPU
Gets the job done perfectly. Would recomend 100% to anyone unsure of where to start for their budget build. Rarely bogs down, and an overall improvement from my old build.
Motherboard
Great compatibility, I didn’t have to get a dud cpu to update the bios. Had a very pleasant time building. My only problem is that RGB Fusion seems like it was made in 15 minutes by a toddler.
Memory
Beautiful. Fast. Really all you need to know to buy it.
Storage
Lightning fast. Definitely get over a hard drive any dya!
Power Supply
Great power supply. Try to get sleeved cables if you can!
Monitor
Good budget 27” monitor. Got it from Costco for $200 cad.
Mouse
Very durable, maybe a bit uncomforable after a while. Good otherwise!
Headphones
Great sounds, and some RGB goodness. When you get it, use iCue to enable surround sound!
Custom
Looks great, compatibility went fine. Would reccomend if you find a good deal, and comes with plenty of cables.
Custom
Cheap. Frayed within a few days. Thinking of getting smaller but RGB mousepad.
Custom
Very amazing feel vs. Membrane. Very much would reccomend to anyone looking for a good, genuine Cherry mechanical keyboard!
Custom
Radiant and very bright. Over 50 different profiles, but not all are good. If you don’t want to spend $100+ on fans then these are a great option.
