Description

This was a slow build. It took me a couple of month to finish and I am still working on it. Not that it was hard to build just took me time to buy all the parts. The great thing about PCs you don't have to buy it all at once. I Hope to buy another Rx480 soon to crossfire and a second ssd for raid 0.

I like this, good price range and looks! Question though, I've been thinking about doing a new build since I haven't done a full revamp in approx 6 years, I'm curious how AMD is doing these days? It left a bitter taste in my mouth with pesky drivers and short lived hardware for me years back but I hear they've been doing pretty good and that I should reconsider them in a future build based on price vs value. Would you agree?

I am kind of a cheapskate so that is why I'm more in the team red camp. I've never had an issue with AMD with the 6 builds I have done. They do draw more power and run a little hotter.

Haven't seen black-orange color scheme in a while

This looks very good even if the tint is more orange in the pictures. This build is quite similar to one I have recently finished. How do you like the RX 480? Do you think it will be an improvement over R9 380X crossfire?

I am liking it. My last card was a gtx960 so the rx480 is a giant improvement . Sorry I'm not familiar with the r9 380xs, but my next upgrade will be rx480 (x2)

Very nice system build. You might want to upgrade your power supply to somewhere around 600W or more, esp. if you intend to go SLI with your gpu's -and if you'll be adding add'l hdd's for storage.

I like the Blk/Red color scheme.

Thanks. I will definitely be upgrading my power supply, It is one of the weaker component in this build. The power supply started out in rig that was less demanding since I been adding newer parts I've been getting closer to it's limits. I appreciate your input.

There's something wrong with your camera, it appears to have made your red build an orange one... Peculiar.

Pretty good!

What is your CPU cooler called?

Wraith cooler only comes with the black edition of the 8350. The 8350 in the parts list still comes with the stock cooler that sounds like a chainsaw

Thanks for pointing that out, I changed it in my parts list.
