Description

This is my first build in about 12 years. It's mainly a gaming rig. I wanted something that would be easy to upgrade and would last me for several years.

Originally I wanted to do a black and white build, but then I thought of a theme involving one of my favorite characters, Hellboy. Hence the name Anung Un Rama, Hellboy's true name. Once that idea was in my head there was no going back. I cut the sticker from a vinyl sheet with sticky backing and was pretty pleased with how it turned out.

The only aesthetics I'm unhappy with are the yellow on the power supply and the the cables. My first future upgrade will most likely be red braided cables. I'll go ahead and use that as my excuse for the mediocre cable management.

SLI may be an option in the future, but for now is not really necessary. I can play pretty much any of my games on ultra with no issues. The ROG Swift monitor is amazing looking and probably my favorite component. The Razer mouse and Atlas headset were purchased previously.

you should have gotten ASROCK FatL1ty X99M Killer it would have been $200 cheaper and it has PCI express its top of line for a budget but your build is overall pretty good and im not hating on your motherboard either. GREAT build . :)

Thanks! I can't disagree with you on that, I thought about using that MOBO but it felt weird throwing in something that wasn't ASUS/Corsair. Budget wasn't too much of a concern thankfully and the overclocking options of the Rampage are something I was keeping in mind for the future.

Why would OP put have a ASrock Fat1ity X99M in an ATX case, if he wanted to use a M-ATX board then he would have gotten an M-ATX case.

Ah, overlooked the "M". Was thinking of their EATX.

I just said the same thing of the featured build, but if you want to change the color of the psu, do what I did for my build and paint it! It's incredibly easy and if you're OCD about the colors like I was it will make the color scheme look a whole lot better.

Nice build though!

Thank you. Just checked your build, very nice, hopefully I can turn my OCD towards managing cables like that. Is there a particular type of paint you would recommend using?

Plastidip, you can always peel it off if the power supply needs to be RMA'd.

The Rust-Oleum has been good so far, both brands I used I had no issues with. Valspar was the other one.

Hey! First of all amazing build! Love the name! We have similar parts, different parts here and there. I need your help. I see that you have the Asus Rampage V Extreme, and a Western Digital BLACK Series 3 TB (I have both as well), and well I was wondering how did you get it to work? Because I connected everything like you would on a regular Hard drive and it didn't show up and I am completely lost on what to do. I know this isn't a forum to post problems, but I've been searching everywhere and you might be able to help me.

Once again amazing build! :)

Thank you! Are you using the HDD as your secondary drive? I have the OS on the SSD's and HD as a media storage drive. Does the drive show up in the BIOS? If it does show in the BIOS you need to make sure you partition and format it in the Disk Management settings. Dunno if that helps.

Yea the drive is my secondary, i have a SSD as my OS, but no it doesn't show up on my BIOS but it does show up under computer management.

Not sure how it can show up in the Disk Management and not the BIOS. In any case right click the drive in the Disk Manager and click partition and then format it. Should be usable after that.
