Take some measurements and trade it in for a new cooler.

You could get the Cooler Master MA G100M RGB cause it's slim and will match RGB fans.

It's a downdraft styled HSF, basically airflow is heading in n out vertically as opposed to 212 - horizontally.

The Cooler Master seems to be 160mm tall.

That Cryorig M9 is 125 mm tall. Surprised the other one didn't fit and it's a mid tower ATX.

Take the cooler back, it's not that great anyway.

This Cryorig one is much shorter, but measure your height and se eif it'll fit: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/TnJtt6/cryorig-m9-plus-484-cfm-cpu-cooler-m9-plus

If not, get a 'downdraft' cooler instead.

in the meantime you can just use the PC with the side panel off.

The other alternative is to get a better case!

GPU and CPUFan should always be checked to fit with whichever case is selected - switching out the cooler is much easier than the case when you first has the build done and notice things don't fit :)
