Pretty much used only for gaming. Have a PLEX box in the living room that I store media on and a company laptop with monitors and a docking station for work.
make sure to fix that ram. for dual channel, you should be alternating dimm slots.
I know this is a generally accepted practice, but what kind of issues does it bring about if you don't do it? I've always been told to alternate channels on dimms, but why tho?
From what I heard,
It's to boost performance.
I dont think there is anything wrong with having it in different slots in general though.
dual channel essentially allows for double the bandwidth between cpu and ram.
I followed the motherboard manual - I believe the arranged it this way for the aesthetic.
But I have a second set on the way anyhow so all four slots will be populated.
Then no worries about that.
Get a heat gun if you can and remove the sticker from the front on that SSD. It would look a lot nicer without that upside-down, red sticker on the front.
holyyyyy that looks amazing :D
Looks cool! How many fans does that gpu have?
