the 750w psu could have been swapped for 600-650 and became modular

Are there airflow issues, cable management issues, or even spaghetti everywhere? No? Then no, he doesn't need to switch to a damn modular power supply for no reason

just a suggestion and it saves power

No, not at all. Not even close. He has a semi-modular power supply anyways, and in almost every instance with a semi-modular power supply you end up using all main cables and still have to plug in one or two more cables for SATA, Molex, etc.

it doesn't save power. the wattage listed is the maximum amount the PSU can push out, not what it's using the moment it turns on.

I just love the idea of "400w PSU? Good idea he must be using it for the next 6 years with no upgrades whatsoever. And even better? PSUs totally don't degrade in power output over time!" Lack of research by somebody who thinks they know better
