Description

I use this machine for streaming on Twitch, but also during the day I use it for work illustrating and for basic web development.

The build goal was to have a beefy enough system to accomplish my current goals but also be future proof enough not to need to upgrade shortly after building.

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

Great cooler, but in a world of fully addressable RGB an always on white LED in the clear fan assembly is just silly.

Motherboard

The only issue I had, and was confirmed by EVGA... was that by default ALL of the m.2 slots are disabled in the BIOS.

Gave me a minor heart attack for a moment when I couldn't see my SSD.

Easily resolved but a stupid default setting.

How is that Corsair M.2? I'm genuinely curious if it's worth the money or not.

Great build though. Love how clean it is. :)

It's great so far! Nice and fast! I have my OS only on it and the entire system goes from completely off to login screen in about 5-6 seconds.

That's good to see. I just don't see many build with it, it's always Samsung. So it's nice to hear that it's still speedy fast in terms of your boot times. :)

How do you like that EVGA 1070ti ultra silent? I just picked one up last week it's a beast of a card and so quiet too. Fans never go over 35%

I love it! I actually got concerned initially because the fans rarely kick on and I never noticed they were running. EVGA confirmed that they don't really kick on until 60C which explains everything. Unless I'm playing something on Ultra everything the card usually hangs out around 50-55C while I'm gaming or streaming.
