Description

Made an update to my build. Decided to get into the world of water cooling outside of AIO's. Pretty please with how this came out. I recently returned from deployment so I had a lot of time to figure out what I wanted and how I wanted to go about this update. Suffice it to say I'm pleased.

Top-shelf build!

What kind of tubing did you end up using? It looks like glass from the pics. Nice clarity.

Thanks! I used Bitspower Crystal Link tubing.

More white leds lining the case so the insides pop more! :)

The only problem is the radiators block most of the light in the case. That was the only spot that I could find that allowed any light to come through.

That is sexy! Any chance you could post more pictures? Especially of the monitor! Incredible job on the build and the loop. One of the best ones I've seen in a while.

Thanks a lot. This is my first attempt at a custom loop. Give me a few minutes and I'll take some more photos. They're with a two year old Moto X so I can't say they'll be the highest quality haha.

Added another of the monitor with it.

Cable management could use a bit of work, but right now i'm just done messing with it.

Hard-line tubing looks rugged as f :O Always blown away at how clean builds turn out to be.

Great cable management and custom loop, a nice number of bends gives this build style ;) +1

Thanks! I like the look of fittings in place of bends. It's easier to keep a consistent look that way.

This is frightening to a great degree, awesome build! How are the temps on everything with the cooling loop?

  • 1 point

lol frightening? Temps for the CPU hover around 24c, and both GPU's at idle at around 30c, under load are about 40c.

Thank you for you service. I see you have a top mounted radiator with a pull configuration (what I'm planning to do as well). Any issues with clearance of the mobo and components? I'm looking at cases and the Phanteks Pro is one of the few in this segment that seems to accomodate. I wanted the NZXT S340 elite but there's only one top fan spot and the P400s looks like it might have clearance issues. I like the new Fractal Design Define C but also concerned with top mount space and no glass. I just wish NZXT would make a glass version of the H440 already.

No issues with clearance. The mounts for the radiator are offset from the motherboard enough that even tall ram fits with no issues.
