Description

Built this mini rig primarily for gaming. I play a lot of FPS games so I have a 144hz monitor, thus idle temps might be a little bit higher for the gpu. It was fun and torturous building in the h200i, took me 13 hours to be satisfied with the cable management. Will be replacing sleeved cables in the future. Have not overclocked yet. Overall happy with the results. Edit: I forgot to mention I had to return G. Skill TridentZ RAM because with this motherboard couldn't fit the Kraken x52 cooler with it installed. Some people forced theirs and I didn't want to do that so I went with low profile ram.

Were you able to hide the usb 2.0 header cable on the motherboard behind your graphics card? I finished my build but don't have a graphics card installed right now but the cable is so hideous to look at so I was wondering if when I do get my gpu I can squish the cable behind it.

Yeah, I do believe that there are cable pass troughs for those cables. The GPU itself has a pass trough hole for that cable as well.

How are the GPU temps with it being right atop the PSU shroud? Any problems with it being so close?

When I game in a pretty warm room, I find it hard to pass 75C. The shroud is perforated and the power supply draws fresh air from the bottom of the case.

How much of an interference was caused when you tried using the g.skill trident ram?

I was able to get it on, but It was to the point where I was scared that my ram slot would break or the water pump would get damaged.
