Description

There were a whole bunch of mail-in-rebates and black friday week deals for those wondering. The CPU/Mobo was the G3258 Microcenter Combo with an open-box motherboard so it came down to $60. The ram is free with two McAfee rebates at TigerDirect. The case and PSU were both bought with the google wallet deal at Newegg. The two 7950's were used off ebay. The only things carried over from the previous build are the 1TB HDD. The case fans you see are all free after rebate but didn't bother to list all 4 of them out. Some of the prices are adjusted to account for a deal being a make money.

better than i5 performance in single threaded applications maybe. those gfx cards aren't comparable to a 980 either. Not bashing it but you're just incorrect. for the money that is a pretty awesome setup though! Merry Christmas and enjoy your new machine! :)
